How the weight loss challenge finalists were selected

Our judging panel have reviewed all of the awe-inspiring entries from around Australia, and selected 10 very worthy finalists. These incredible people were chosen not just for their fantastic weight loss, but also considering:

  • Their complete mind and body transformation during their weight loss journey
  • Their honest reflections on how previous life struggles prompted them to start the Rapid Loss Challenge
  • How changes to diet and life-style have improved their long term health and wellbeing for the better
  • Whether their commitment to exercise and their weight loss plan have motivated them in other areas of their life.

The Rapid Loss Challenge Finalists


Losing 24.1 kilos was just the beginning for 2016 Rapid Challenge finalist Chris Bryce. He is now happier, healthier and has a more positive outlook on life and his future.


With a total weight loss of 40 kilos, Carol Taataa is a true inspiration. The 2016 Rapid Loss Challenge was Carol’s third, and since her weight loss journey began in 2011 she has successfully maintained her weight loss with Rapid Loss meal replacement shakes.


Debra Thomson lost 32 kilos using Rapid Loss, and this finalist in our 2016 Rapid Loss Challenge has a busy life with three autistic children. She needed a convenient weight loss solution, and used the Rapid Loss Diet and Exercise Plan to become one of our finalists!


Sarah O’Connor lost 30 kilos kilos on Rapid Loss and gained her self-confidence.


After battling being overweight all of his life, father of four Peter McCullen lost 16.5 kilos and regained his sense of self-belief. Now that is an accomplishment to be proud of!


Rebecca Conroy transformed her body and mind, losing 15.5 kilos and finding both happiness and a love of exercise – she has even completed three half marathons!


At over 60 years old, losing 19.5 kilos on the Rapid Loss diet and exercise plan in 16 weeks helped Frances Fraser get more active. She now runs 10 kilometres , has joined the gym and has said goodbye to high blood pressure and arthritic pain. What a remarkable weight loss story!

The Deserving Winner


Winner Lauren Kertland lost an amazing 35 kilos. Yep, that’s right, 35 kilos in just 16 weeks.

For her hard work, Lauren received a huge $25,000 cash prize as well as an opportunity to be a part of a Rapid Loss TV campaign during a 5 day retreat to be held in Sydney’s Bondi Yoga Studio complete with a glamorous makeup and professional photoshoot to celebrate her new look.

Lauren described her experience losing weight using Rapid Loss diet shakes as “Life Changing”.
